Familia!
Que creen? me voy de Loma Linda a San Jose por este ultimo cambio!
President called me yesterday to tell me I am going to San Jose tomorrow. I will still be training hahaha. It is all just crazy! But I am so SAD and so happy!
Sad- because we have 3 baptisms this week. Miriam and Manuel, the most golden investigators I have ever met! and Sweet Antonio! I just got to Loma Linda.. freak! But I think president is going to give me permission to go the baptism! Fingers crossed!
Happy- Because I get to met new people and work with a new sister! There is something so special about new missionaries! I love it! San Jose also shares the church building with Puertas Del Sol! I get to see all my peeps again! whoop!
This week was fantastic. I love my companions. We have had a great time together! Today we had a mission activity another sport's day... President was taking photos of me for Facebook... -_- hahah They are going to be keepers someday..
What else.. my comps and I have spent half our computer time today looking at Dano's engagements. haha they turned out really cute! I can't wait to Skype with you all on Sunday and meet Madi!
But this week was excellent we had almost all of our investigators at church. It was a miracle and nooo we did not pull the whole "Hermana Gillette is leaving! You need to come say goodbye to her at church" card. haha we are just missionaries that use our resources! haha But it worked! and they all stayed for the 3 hours. Honestly this area is so blessed!
I took some pictures with some of my family here in Loma Linda. Like Miguel and Miguelito and Miriam and Manuel I will send all the photos your way! Also with Hermanita Julisa who has basically been my companion these last few weeks, since we go on splits like 4 times a week right now. It is funny because yesterday I had to go around and introduce Hermana Bowers and Moreno to some of our investigators... haha even though they are my companions we have gone on so many splits that I had my own list of people I have been visiting and yesterday at church was the first time meeting some of our investigators haha. It was funny.
This week was Miriam's birthday and she invited us over to eat cake with her family. She ended up having 3 huge cakes made for her. It was a good time. I think soon her whole family will be baptized. Her husband is really attached to his catholic beliefs but he does listen to us and I know that Manuel sometimes shares what he reads in The Book of Mormon and stuff. It is awesome!
Oh my gosh! We met the cutest little girl out here this week. Hermana Bowers and I went to the border to renew our green cards and this little girl Heidi with her own iPhone 6 plus.. she had to be from the states side. She was talking both Spanish and English to us. She showed us this alphabet game on her phone and it pronounces the letter and then there is a photo and says the word. She clicks on "M" "mmmm.. M. Mano" Then it shows a picture of a hand which is "mano" in Spanish. She goes "Woah!! They cut someone's hand off for my game!" We about died laughing.. this was just one of the many comments that we have now been repeating all week long.
Well, I think that is enough for today since I will be talking.. no SEEING you all on Sunday! Whoop!! I am stoked! It is going to be crazy!
Oh one last story! I just saw one of my photos and remembered. Antonio one of our investigators can't read. We had a couple of days of going to look for him and he wasn't home.. so we drew him a note to tell him we would be coming back to look for him the next day ;)
Love you all!
