Hey hey!
I am writing early this week because I am actually going to do something on my p-day! I am super stoked! Something is weird in my area. Everyone has been just a little off this week. We all need a little pick me up. So... Hermana Magana and I decided to have a "Girl's Day" with some of the girls in our ward. I am going to cut and do some hair today and Hermana Janet is going to do our nails and we ar making brownies. I think it's gonna be a good time! There is just not much to do around here.. so we are making our own fun! Hopefully pictures to come next week!
Well, this week was crazy.. It was pretty sad cause as missionaries we want everything to always be increasing. But this week a lot of things went down hill. But it is all part of life. I am learning a lot in this area! That is for sure. iliana (our golden investigator) told us this week she is not married to her husband.. everyone here has a husband or wife but sometimes they never actually get married.. oh Mexicans.. I don't get it! They have been together for over 20 years! So hopefully we will be having a wedding soon! :)
All our other investigators have been having problems too. It is super sad. I won't go into details but they are all sad and rough. Hopefully we can help these people find real happiness and make changes in their lives.
One day this week president's wife, Hermana Morales and two of her nieces that were visiting from Monterrey worked with us all day. The two nieces were 16 years old. It was super fun to work with them and Hermana Morales is just super powerful in.. well... everything. So it was nice to have a day to learn from her and enjoy their company :)
Also this week, Julia and Hector are recent converts to the church. They got baptized right before I came to this area. But they are seriously awesome. Julia's personality reminds me a lot of Kristin. She is awesome. Well, this week she told us she is pregnant! It was just about as exciting as having one of my sisters pregnant! I am stoked for them! That was exciting!
Also, Hermana Magana and I planned an activity this week. Not very many people came but it was still a blast! We had a message on the example of Jesus Christ and then we had a scripture scavenger hunt around the church with different teams! It was a lot of fun! and Hermana Janet made delicious food so all went well!
Hmm.. I think that is a good sum of my week. Sorry I don't have very much time today to write! Hopefully I will have a bit more next week!
Love you all!
