Well hey hey family! How are you all! Thank you so much for all of the beautiful packages this week! I loved them all and I love you all so much! I hope you had a wonderful Valentine's Day! Well, I should have brought my journal cause my mind is black right now! All I can really think about today is how I leave for Mexico TOMORROW!!! AHH! Too crazy! Too crazy!
But let me tell you what I can remember from my week. K, So every week we have to write a talk on our own time in Spanish and then on Sunday's they randomly pick two people to talk. So last Sunday they go up and they call my name.. AH! haha so I had to go up and give a talk in Spanish on the Holy Ghost. It was freaky but kind of fun haha. But mostly freaky. Then the Hartman's took that video. I swear I know better Spanish than that! I got scared and spaced haha. I will make up for that video. I promise haha.
Then on Monday we worked on making comparisons. Like doctrine to things in life so that our investigators can better understand things. Just like right on the spot. So I decided to compare Baptism to buying a puppy. But then it totally back fired when I told this whole entire fake investigator family that baptism is like eating a puppy. I wanted to die. Language can be SO hard sometimes. But I just laughed it off, I will get better. It was actually way funny! hahaha.
On Tuesday, We Skyped with a man from Mexico. Yeah.. ask me if Hermana Clubb understood like anything he said. yeah.. not really.. haha it was interesting but it went well his wife was a freaking sweetie! Not much happened the other days we just taught and had class.
But yesterday we had in field orientation and it was actually a lot better than I thought it would be. It was a lot of talking rather than listening which I prefer. All of us hermana's wore Valentine's colors for fun and I got to pass out the valentine's dad and Debbie sent. Also thanks Vieve for the valentine's the hermanas loved them! Also, mom, I have eaten WAY TOO much chocolate this week. Those Utah Truffles are too freaking delicious! Jof and Kylie thanks for the valentine's they were so cute! Everyone is always waiting to see Jof's drawing he send me :)
I feel bad cause this week wasn't too exciting but I am sure next week will make up for it all :) haha. Other than that I saw Lauren Andrus from my ward here this week! It was so good to see her (pics included) Also Pictures of me with my zone and stuff. I just want to say that I am seriously in love with my mission so far. The MTC has been such a good experience and I have already learned so much! I have loved the people, the teachers (also people..), the sweet letters, the wonderful lessons, the talks-seriously the talks, and just really learning so much about the kind of person I want to be for the rest of my life. All good things. It's been a privilege. Well, on to the next adventure :)
Love,
Hermana Gillette!
